On May 9, the Victory Day, the head of the Republic Alexander Evstifeev visited the Mari State Opera and Ballet Theatre n.a. E. Sapaev.
The world-famous rock-opera "Juno and Avos" by composer Alexei Rybnikov on poems by Andrei Voznesensky was presented on the stage.
For the first time on the stage of the Mari State Opera and Ballet Theatre n.a. E. Sapaev, the play was staged in October 2015 and during that time has gained great popularity.
The performance was appraised by the acting Head of the Republic of Mari El Alexander Evstifeev. The head of the region congratulated all those present on the Victory Day and commended the creativity of the theatre and its staff.

The head of the region presented the flower basket to the artists. And after the closing of the curtain in an informal situation he communicated with the troupe and was photographed with the whole team.
